Maxwell Street Market And Other City Farmers Markets Returning This Spring.

Chicago City Markets — and the famed Maxwell Street Market — are returning to the neighborhoods this spring.

Fresh produce, flowers, locally made items and other goods are available at the city-run farmers markets. They’ll make their returns this spring and summer and will be open into October, according to a news release from the city’s events departments.

The Maxwell Street Market, a more-than-century-old Chicago icon that’s seen a host of variations, is also coming back, according to the city. The market features foods, plants, furniture, clothing and more.

This year’s farmers market season will kick off with an event May 11 at Daley Plaza. Details will be shared in the coming weeks, according to the city.

Daley Plaza City Market
7 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursdays May 11-Oct. 26 at 50 W. Washington St.

Division Street City Market
7 a.m.-noon Saturdays May 6-Oct. 28 at 100 W. Division St.

West Humboldt Park City Market
