Classic Chicago Grant Park Music Festival 2022

The Grant Park Music Festival 2022 season, is slated to run from June 15 to Aug. 20.

Heralding the Festival’s return to a 10-week season with full chorus and orchestra, as well as a high-water mark for its commitment to new works with plans to present six world-premiere works this summer, the most of any season in recent memory.

TheGrant Park Music Festival has been a Chicago tradition for almost 90 years. Held at Millennium Park, the festival is the nation’s only free, summer-long outdoor classical music series.

The Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus offer a thrilling lineup of music with a mix of contemporary compositions and classical favorites such as Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony, Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty and Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 2.

Plus there will be plenty of family fun with the Independence Day Salute, Lights on Broadway, and Cirque Goes to Hollywood featuring live aerialists soaring above the stage.
