Burnham Harbor Chicago

Situated on the Museum Campus, Burnham Harbor Chicago is the largest harbor in the city’s Harbors system.

Surrounded by a stunning skyline view, the Adler Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Soldier Field, Northerly Island, and McCormick Place the harbor is a focal point of the City of Chicago.

In addition to being a seasonal home for our Adeline’s Sea Moose, Burnham Harbor is also home to the Burnham Park Yacht Club.

Adeline’s Sea Moose is located at Dock J in Burnham Harbor, which is the first gated dock north of the Harbormaster’s office 1559 South Lake Shore Drive and public parking.

The Chicago Harbors consist of the largest municipally owned harbor system in the United States as they span 14 miles of lakeshore ranging in everything from plush, cosmopolitan harbors to quaint, neighborhood ports. With 6,000 moorings across 10 harbors, the marinas are sheltered along the iconic Lake Shore Drive from north to south.
