• Major Water Displays: Every hour on the hour from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., the fountain erupts in a 20-minute show featuring its center jet shooting water up to 150 feet into the air.
• Light & Music Shows: Starting at dusk, those same hourly displays are enhanced with a synchronized light and music performance, adding a dreamy, moonlit vibe to the spectacle.
• Final Show of the Night: At 10:35 p.m., the fountain gives one last illuminated performance before shutting down around 10:55 p.m.

Celebrated for its Beaux-Arts design and dramatic water displays. Inspired by the Latona Fountain at Versailles, it was dedicated in 1927 as a tribute from philanthropist Kate Buckingham to her brother. Crafted from pink Georgia marble and adorned with bronze seahorses symbolizing the states bordering Lake Michigan, the fountain features 193 jets that soar up to 150 feet. From mid-spring through Halloween, it comes alive with hourly water shows and enchanting light-and-music performances at dusk, offering a timeless spectacle framed by the city’s iconic skyline.
